My parents are way too strict!

All they do now is nag, nag, nag, nag and nag! It’s not like I’m 13 like my little brother who always seems to get into trouble. I am the responsible one; I follow curfews even though they are set to be at 9pm! I’m 17 years old and I have to be home by 9?! Ok I would understand that if I was a trouble maker or rebellious but I’m not! Then when I want to go to my friends house and I say I’ll be home by 8:30 they say no because I went ice skating the day before for 2 hours?! How unfair is this?! I am really getting sick and tired of being treated like a 4 year old! This can really end up screwing my future as once I get a chance to be alone I might stay out for a whole day and not come home! I mean my parents know my friends really well and they know we don’t do anything wrong. (We don’t smoke, we don’t drink we don’t annoy other people we just hang out and talk or play games) I really think my parents need to see a therapist or something because I am going crazy! I don’t even have anyone to talk to about my problems I have to post it on my blog and hope that some one has an answer. Well I guess this is one day I won’t be having any fun.

Well i think you should freak them out 1 day, just tell them you would be home by a certain time n shut ur phone!! Then come sleep over at my house for a few days
Then after a coupla days just show up n let them see that ur ok and you can handle yourself and that your not a kid anymore.

hahaha dude they would probably look at me when they open the door hit me with a book and close the door. then they would tell all the maids not to let me in no matter what
but then that would be cool as i could do what ever i wanted 
but before i leave id sneak into my room and get the laptop and some movies so i could keep entertained

Dude, my curfew at that age was 7pm! And that was just last year. Now I just tell my parents I’m sleeping over at a friend’s house and go out somewhere else instead

this so reflets on the way my parents are treating me with giving me less opportunies and being so slak to meand i work hard at school and im not allowed to fdo other things os all my parents care about is earning money and providing for my brother and i. this isnt fair and wotn ever stop cos my mum doesnt understand me at alll and theres like no point in me talking to her\
